Justice League: 10 Over-Looked Positives

1. The Troubled Production Doesn't Show

Justice League Wonder Woman
Warner Bros.

The biggest surprise about the film is that it isn't a complete mess. With Zack Snyder having to leave the film mid-way due to a family tragedy and Joss Whedon- a man with a very different style to Snyder, overseeing re-shoots combined with various negative pre-release responses to the film and a seemingly never-ending stream of controversies hitting its stars, things did not look at all good for Justice League.

It seemed destined to be another mess butchered into oblivion by the studios.

However, ultimately Justice League is a very coherent movie. The plot can be explained easily and unlike in previous movies audiences will actually understand the plans of the film's antagonists. The consistent tone and sparing use of jokes means the film doesn't feel like it was made by a lot of different people with different creative visions unlike the earlier DC movies.

Justice League doesn't feel like a film with a troubled production. It's a fun, clear and easily understandable film that handles its beloved characters and offers up plenty of fun spectacle. Both this and Wonder Woman indicate that this franchise has finally cleared up its act and is heading for a decent future. And it's about time.
