Justice League: 10 Things It Should Have Done Differently

5. A Lesser Reliance On CGI

Bad CGI has dogged the DC movie universe since Doomsday reared his ugly, Cave Troll-like head in Batman v Superman, and Justice League is the worst offender yet.

Steppenwolf resembles a video game character from the PlayStation 3 area, Cyborg looks artificial in a way that's nothing to do with the fact he was created in a lab, and the less said about the messy digital removal of Henry Cavill's moustache, the better.

There are few shots in Justice League that weren't put together with CGI - if it isn't engulfing The Flash in the Speedforce sequences, it's all over the villain's face - and since these effects are rarely convincing, other solutions should have been explored.

Steppenwolf and Cyborg could have been put together with practical effects - surely they could have created decent ones with a $300 million budget - but if this wasn't an option for whatever reason, the use of CGI should have been toned down.
