The Justice League triumph, inevitably, but there's a slight sting in the tail, as Lex Luthor shows his true colours even from a dystopian future where heroes have saved him from dying.

The script ends with Mercy Graves planning present day Lex Luthor's presidential campaign, only for the future Lex to send a message back in time revealing to him that Superman's secret identity is Clark Kent.

Just imagine how good that would be to set up a Superman sequel...
