1. You "Need" To Watch The Ultimate Edition

And whether or not the movie is a success overall, it's practically inevitable at this point that the film, with its lengthy post-production process, is going to have a longer Ultimate Edition released on home video.

No doubt, a number of the movie's glaring issues will be fixed in this version, just as they were with Batman v Superman, causing a fleet of fans to complain about having to buy the Blu-ray just to get the full story and "complete" version, out of some misplaced sense of brand loyalty.

You can always just..not buy the Blu-ray and take it on its theatrical terms, but of course, that would require the kind of restraint that most of the hardcore crowd just don't have.

That's not to let Warner Bros. off the hook for a blatant money-grabbing scheme, though, because it's still extremely frustrating that the theatrical release almost definitely won't be the final word.
