Justice League Dark Review: 4 Ups & 5 Downs

1. It's Too Short & Rushed

Justice League Dark clocks in at just 76 minutes, which in fairness is in-line with the short lengths of most DC animated movies (The Killing Joke was 77 minutes, for instance).

Still, chop off a few more minutes for the credits and you've got something that only scarcely feels feature length. Plus, with having to introduce so many characters for the sake of the casual crowd, it seems immensely rushed and can rarely take enough time to dig down deep with all of its heroes.

It's clearly a financial decision, no doubt influenced by that R-rating, but wouldn't it be awesome to see DC animated movies clocking in at the 100-120 minute mark in the future?

It sure wasn't all bad, though, so here are 4 things that actually worked in the movie...
