24. Steppenwolf

Confirmed By: Batman V Superman's cut scene (and Ciaran Hinds talking about playing him quite openly).

Plot Prediction:

It looks likely that Steppenwolf - played by Hinds as a mix of mo-cap and traditional performance by his own admission - will be different to how he appears in the BvS deleted scene (at least if the LEGO set spoiling his new look is to be believed).

However he looks, he's going to be introduced as an enslaved lieutenant in Darkseid’s army of Apokolips, sent to Earth to lead to retrieval of the Mother Boxes. According to Hinds, he's not entirely happy with his lot in life, as he told the Independent:

He’s old, tired, still trying to get out of his own enslavement to Darkseid, [but] he has to keep on this line to try and take over worlds.

So could he turn on his "boss" by the end?
