13. Silas Stone

Silas Stone may not appear much in the movie, but he has a surprisingly pivotal role early on, being kidnapped by Steppenwolf, causing the League to come to his rescue.

As a father looking to do the best for his son, even having to pretend his son's dead, Silas is a tragic and empathetic character whose bond with Victor is one of the film's more honest and restrained emotional beats.

It helps immeasurably that an actor of Joe Morton's caliber is in the role, and while it's a small part, Morton brings dignity and intrigue to it all the same.
