Justice League Film: 10 Continuity Questions That Must Be Answered

8. Where's Gordon?

tdkr_batsignal The last we saw of Commissioner Gordon, he was reviewing case files on the rooftop of the Major Crimes Unit when he was surprised and excited by the newly repaired bat-signal. There was no mention of any fallout or consequences for his part in the coverup of Harvey Dent's crimes eight years earlier. I would think that obstruction of justice could threaten someone's career in the police force. But given the circumstances, one could imagine that Gotham City may have given him a pardon with his recent contribution to help save the city from a nuclear holocaust. With the fact that a Justice League storyline will probably include some type of global threat, a trip back to Gotham City may not be necessary. If it's not part of the story, there probably won't be a return of Gotham's police commissioner, but it would still be nice to know what became of him. I would like to think he moved to Cleveland to reunite with his wife and kids, but one can only hope.
