10. Great Visuals
Say what you like about the Matrix trilogy; you cant deny that they had some incredible visuals. From pretty much inventing bullet-time slow motion, to realising some of the most innovative and exciting action set pieces ever captured on film, the Wachowskis proved throughout those three movies that they know how to manufacture on-screen magic. To handle such incredible collective power as a group composed of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Martian Manhunter and Green Lantern, the directors need to be comfortable creating a massive spectacle. Wouldnt you say that directing something like the Matrix trilogy would act as perfect prior experience?
