Justice League Film: 10 Things We Want To See

1. The Beat Down to End All Beat Downs

At the end of the film, when all hope seems lost, when the team has been beaten, broken, and betrayed by the very people they fight to save, the one thing everyone wants to see is the Justice League lay down the law like no one has before. The stakes will be high, the people will be running in fear, the villain will think they've won (as is typical of every hero movie), and when the League steps up to win, they win so hard that it hurts. We're talking ripped, hulking dudes lifting heavy at the gym shouting "Beast mode!" win. Real wrath of God stype stuff Mr. Mayor. A Tom Cruise profanity infused Tropic Thunder rage rant win. Dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria! If the characters and themes have been built up right and well, then come the time to wrap things up in our epic final battle means all the focus should be placed on it being the most awesome thing you've ever seen. Avengers set a pretty high bar but when it comes time for the Justice League to win, I don't want them to just...win. I want them to embarrass the villain. When Iron Man nuked those aliens through the portal or whatever, they all just shut down and that was that. I don't want that with the JL. I want them to, borrowing a quote from Tommy Lee Jones' Col. Phillips in Captain America, "Personally escort Adolf Hitler to the gates of Hell." We need every league member in touch with their abilities and fighting tooth and nail to stop evil. I'm not sure how many of you are gym goers here, or maybe even back in High School when you were forced to push so hard that you threw up? That's happened to me several times. We want that emotionally running throughout this final fight. We want the League members pushing themselves to their limits and exceeding them, overcoming fears, obstacles, and weaknesses and fighting for mankind, not because they must, but because they want to. This group genuinely loves and cares for the people of earth and would gladly lay down their lives to protect it. We want to feel that in every punch, every footfall, ever construct, so when the dust settles and the League stands victorious we realized what we just witnessed was complete and utter ownage, that any doubt prior was just silly worry because the Justice League knows how to bring the thunder and release the beast. Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, and Martian Manhunter. There's so much power here that we want to see it explode like an epileptic seizure of awesomeness and destruction. Considering what's at stake for the future of the cinematic DCU, for these characters and for further Justice League films, Warner Bros. can't afford not to take it to the next level here. Alright ya'll. We're just scratching the service here. What are some other things we want, or need, to see in the Justice League film? Can it and will it be better than the Avengers? Comments are below kids!
