3. Hellspores

Speaking of Parademons, we also see them in this very intriguing shot of the trailer. While at first glance it just looks like a bunch of them flying over an old town, it becomes clear that we're also seeing some black spots coming out of the tower with them.

Those spots are almost certainly Hellspores, which are used by Darkseid's army to turn the world into a fiery wasteland. This location seems to be where the final fight against Steppenwolf takes place, and it explains some of the imagery we later see (or in other words, the spores do their job).
