Justice League Movie: 10 Villains Zack Snyder Could Use Instead Of Darkseid

9. Ma'alefa'ak Or The White Martians

Judging by what we've heard so far, Martian Manhunter won't immediately be a part of the DC Cinematic Universe. However, as one of the more iconic members of the Justice League, it would be a shame not to see him sooner rather than later. One great way to introduce him would be through audiences meeting his evil brother Ma'alefa'ak, and his army of White Martians. Why introduce Darkseid, the tyrant of Apokolips, when there are formidable aliens right in our own solar system? The White Martians are a savage shape-shifting warrior race, who were constantly battling with the peaceful Green Martians. A lengthy civil war between the two races ended with the remaining Whites being sent to the Still Zone (which is similar to the Kryptonian Phantom Zone). They have escaped several times, however, and given various members of the JLA a run for their money. Ma'alefa'ak, on the other hand, is the twin brother of Martian Manhunter J'onn J'onnz, and was single-handedly responsible for wiping out the Martian race with "H'ronmeer's Curse," which caused the Martians to fall victim to a plague of fire that literally burned them to death when they attempted to use telepathy and communicate with one another. With all of Martian Manhunter's powers and none of his morality, Ma'alefa'ak would be a formidable foe to the Justice League, and could either take on the League himself, or employ the skills of the White Martians and enact an alien invasion on Earth.
