5. Chris Pine As Green Lantern
I will start this of by saying that I think the Green Lantern isn't a bad movie, it just wasn't a great one. And let's face it, Green Lantern is going to be like the Hulk of the DC Universe; in other words, it will be rebooted to fit into The Justice League. Now, I didn't mind Ryan Reynolds as Green Lantern, he was okay to me, but he has stated he will not return so he can focus on Deadpool so with all but confirmed, enter Chris Pine. The Star Trek actor has already proven his leading man credentials in Abrams' reboot franchise, and he has the star quality and the acting ability to rescue Green Lantern. Personally, I really could not think of a better choice to take on the Hal Jordan mantle than him. He has come a long way since his debut, and he has the actual look and attitude to be a really convincing Jordan, just as Reynolds did before him. Plus he has the right amount of star power to bring in a good audience for the Green Lantern, as long as the film-makers are strong enough to ignore the urge to retell his origin story. That would also allow us to keep Mark Strong as Sinestro, which can only be seen as a bonus. If Pine is destined not to be chosen however, I would like to see Jon Stewart make an appearance, possibly played by actor Chadwick Boseman.
