Justice League Movie Recast: 10 Fantasy Castings

I’m not giving Ryan Reynolds the time of day with this one. Cooper is a great comedic actor, used to delivering one liners but with a lot of scope to give his character vulnerability. In short, he has the depth that Reynolds either ignored or was unable to give his incarnation of Hal Jordan.

Not only that but if you had to reference Reynolds outing as Jordan, then Cooper can certainly pass as an older version that’s been around the block a few times. I considered casting Idris Elba as Jon Stewart, but I think this Justice League needs the comic relief that can provided by Bradley Cooper as Green Lantern.

Luckily enough Cooper has more than a few Academy Award nominations to his name so adding his name to the roster would not only give the Justice League a well known name for the poster but also bring about the possibility of an awards worth Green Lantern film. What a world we live in.
