Justice League Snyder Cut: 10 Major Changes We Already Know About

9. More Focus On Cyborg

When Avengers Assemble debuted in the cinemas in 2012, it was an unprecedented success because it brought together six established characters, fleshed out and complete with previous character development. When Justice League was released however, only three of the team had ever been properly seen in the DCEU before.

Coming into the movie with with no backstory or development left half of the main characters to suffer, none more so than Cyborg. Victor Stone clearly had a unique, compelling, and tragic backstory to be told, but virtually nothing was explored about him from before he became Cyborg. It's hard for audiences to form any sort of attachments or connections to characters if they are given no reason to care. This is what happened with Cyborg.

During the DC Fandome event, Zack Snyder made it clear he wasn't happy with how the character was ultimately used in the cinematic version of the movie, and that his cut will flesh him out more and truly build him as a hero that fans can attach to.

He is supposed to be the heart of the movie, and the one that holds the entire team together, which is something that absolutely did not come across in cinemas.
