Justice League: The Snyder Cut - 10 Huge Moments From The Trailer You May Have Missed

A trailer for the Snyder Cut of Justice League is finally here, but did you spot these key moments?

Plenty of talking points came out of DC FanDome, and while movies like The Batman and The Suicide Squad certainly made an impact, one of the biggest moments of the evening came courtesy of the first trailer for Justice League. The epic, beautiful preview was set to Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" (a tune used by Zack Snyder in Watchmen) and certainly delivered some big surprises.

There were, of course, some familiar shots from the theatrical version, but even those looked different courtesy of the movie's new colour palette and aspect ratio. Confirmed for a four-part release on HBO Max next year, Justice League: The Snyder Cut (the movie's official title) is clearly going to be an event which resonates with comic book fans everywhere.

However, upon closer inspection, there are a lot of big reveals in this sneak peek you may very well have missed. From key changes to the storyline to unexpected cameos and even some shocking developments with the Flash which could be felt in his 2022 movie, Justice League: The Snyder Cut could end up being a bigger deal for the DC Multiverse than anyone ever anticipated.

Plus, after just two-and-a-half minutes, it's clear it will deliver in a way that "Josstice League" did not...

10. Uxas Attacks Earth

It's hard to miss the trailer's opening shot as Uxas - better known as Darkseid - finally makes his presence felt in the DC Extended Universe. However, what you may not realise is what the iconic villain is up to here as he swings that massive weapon towards the ground.

This clearly takes place during the "history lesson" portion of Justice League, and Darkseid is shown activating the Anti-Life Equation for the first time here. That gives him total control over the minds of sentient beings, though it obviously didn't work out this time as we know from the theatrical cut that he's eventually defeated before targeting Earth again thousands of years later.

In those future set "Knightmare" sequences from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the Anti-Life Equation has decimated Earth and seen the Man of Steel fall under Darkseid's control. Now, the hope is that this movie will explain what leads to the villain's victory in that desolate future.
