19. Batman Swings In

Batman's "introduction" sees him swinging into shot as a Parademon tries to take him out. Like the optic blast shot in the Batman v Superman trailer, it's a pretty badass way to show him in his costume for the first time. And it looks to be an homage to Batman's first appearance on the cover of Detective Comics #27...

And speaking of that costume... It's a marked improvement on the BvS version. It looks far more like a comic book costume (even more than Christopher Nolan's as well). Aside from the shades, he looks great.

Incidentally, this barely even looks like Earth - notice the xenomorph like details on the walls...

Could this be a look inside a Parademon ship? Or are we off planet here? That last possibility wouldn't make sense with Batman breathing air, but who knows what planet this is supposed to be?
