Justice League Trailer Breakdown: 28 Things You Must See

23. Cyborg In Action

Cyborg Shoot
Warner Bros.

For the first time, we see Syborg laying down some violence using his sound amplifier, which mercifully we're seeing used to shoot blasts of energy strong enough to warp steel, rather than just making people's ears feel uncomfortable. Though since he's firing it at his father (who appears to be laughing) and some other human characters, that might not be a lethal blow at all, and more like retaliation of some sort.

He also pulls a Twilight/Edward Cullen moment, saving a cop from what appears to be a flying, burning tank...

Cyborg Tank
Warner Bros.

Is this in Metropolis? The cityscape looks like it. It wouldn't at all be surprising if this wasn't part of the main narrative, but rather part of Cyborg's establishing story: setting up the fact that he's already turned to heroism. Because if he hasn't already pulled off feats like this, how would he even be on Wonder Woman and Batman's radar in the first place?
