5. Emily Blunt
Emily Blunt is one of the most talented actresses operating in the world right now and, as such, could definitely deliver a tour-de-force performance that may open up new facets of Kate Middleton's life, and the emotional repercussions that come with a life lived entirely in the spotlight. On top ofthat, The Devil Wears Prada, the first film in which I personally first saw Blunt, proves that she can has a strong grasp on comedic timing which is surely to be a large part of the film and Kate's relationship with William, in the less serious sections of the biopic. The only thing that may hold Blunt back in winning this role then, is the fact that she has already played a member of royalty in The Young Victoria. Whilst this role proved that Blunt definitely has what it takes to be successfully believable as a member of the royal family, it is hard to imagine that she would be picked simply because it may lead to suggestions from some internet theorists that Kate Middleton is a modern day Queen Victoria, or in the very least that they look alike enough to be played by the same acctress. Despite this, Blunt definitely has the talent to fulfill the role and I would not be averse to seeing her take on the challenge.
