Oddly Julianne Moore's villain Poppy only appears in the trailer for a single brief shot, all the more strange considering a few more images of her were visible in the 15-second teaser recently released for the film.

Not only does Moore seem to be capturing a deliciously sinister, creepily welcoming charm here, but it's interesting to see her running some sort of restaurant business, which perhaps is the key to her evil plan.

She has a lot to live up to after Samuel L. Jackson's outrageously good Richmond Valentine from the first film, but Moore's track record for picking meaty roles suggests she's probably snagged herself a good one here. After all, didn't society collectively agree that Seventh Son never really happened?
