Kraven The Hunter: 10 Actors Who Could Play The Spider-Man Villain In His New Movie

As mentioned in slide with Daveed Diggs, there's no real reason Kraven the Hunter can't be Black, and should that prove to be the case, then Idris Elba's name is another that jumps out. A little older than Diggs, Elba's Kraven would no doubt be a more seasoned, experienced hunter, and given how long the character's comic book counterpart has been alive for, that could be just what Sony wants.

Kraven has managed to extend his life for decades, and that means he's lived through a lot of different time periods. Exploring the prejudices he's faced in that time could make this movie that little bit more powerful, while also giving Elba the chance to play a more three dimensional villain than the one seen in Hobbs & Shaw last year.

Regardless, Elba is someone with the right credentials for playing a badass warrior like Kraven, and it would be fun seeing what he could bring to the role. With Marvel Studios' creative input in Spider-Man 3, he could no doubt steal the show and make this classic bad guy someone fans would take seriously.
