Leonardo DiCapro's Oscar Snub: 5 Reasons The Academy Hates Him

1. The Future Is Bright, Just Not Immediately

django-dicaprio Some might people argue that DiCaprio isn't a great actor at all, and all that you have read justifies that, and he is occasionally accused of playing 'samey roles' and not really trying to break the mould he has set for himself. I would point you naysayers to exhibit A: Calvin Candie. Christoph Waltz is no less deserving of an Oscar than Leo himself, but it would have been nice to see him nominated for his role in Dajngo Unchained, if not for his wickedness and distinction from his other roles alone. It seems the wheel keeps on turning and DiCaprio keeps on missing out. But all is not lost, the man is young and a victim of circumstance, you only have to look at his back catalog to contradict the point above, he his a talented actor with an eye for great roles. I sincerely hope that one day he follows the path of the great directors he has worked with by maybe getting behind the camera. With who he has worked with as reference points, surely he could be one of the best. At the age of 38 the boy Leo can still command a lot from his career, and I for one want that to end with a mass of little golden statuettes proudly standing on his mantle. Do you think DiCaprio should have won an Oscar by now? Have your say below.
