18. Zander And Dale Rice

Dr Zander Rice is a major character from the comics, so he's not an Easter Egg, but one of his exchanges with Logan near the end of the film includes a nice reference.

He mentions that his father worked on the Weapon X project, which Logan acknowledges, saying he remembers him (his name is Dale Rice), and that he thinks he killed him to provoke Rice.

That's exactly what happened in the comics: when Weapon X escaped - the sequence that was appropriated as a story element in X-Men: Apocalypse in fact - Rice was one of the men killed in his rampage. It was that origin that sparked his son's hatred of dangerous mutants, which is why it's so important here, even as a throw-away quote.
