2. X-Men Comics Exist?

One of Deadpool's biggest draws was the self-referential meta. Well, it looks like Logan has taken some cues from his masked friend...with little success. In the world of Logan, Wolverine and the X-Men have been immortalised in comic book form which includes the yellow spandex costume. Though sure to be a crowd-pleasing moment, does this really make sense?

Throughout the X-Men franchise mutants have always been a subject of prejudice and hatred by the majority, so why would anyone make a comic book about them that puts them in a good light? Why would Wolverine be wearing a yellow costume when he has only ever been seen wearing black leather?

Perhaps the moment was never meant to be looked into and it's merely there as a wink to comic book fans, but it's difficult to see it as anything other than being meta for meta's sake.
