The trailer also provided fans with their first look at Boyd Holbrook's antagonist, the leader of the cyborg unit The Reavers, Donald Pierce.
The brief images of Pierce show off his cybernetic arm and that totally bada** neck tattoo. Holbrook has carved out an impressive body of supporting work in his career so far, so this should be quite the profile boost for him, and there's little doubt he'll deliver the goods.
It remains to be seen whether he'll just end up being a lackey to Nathaniel Essex aka Mister Sinister, but hopefully he'll feel like a threat in his own right rather than a mere minion.
