20. Xavier Has Alzheimer's, Lives In Cerebro
Given how universally loved Patrick Stewart is in the role of Professor Charles Xavier, it's extremely distressing for fans to see him in such terrible health, apparently ravaged by Alzheimer's disease.
In the trailer, Xavier can be seen resting in bed, surrounded by plants in what appears to be the shell of Cerebro, which ironically is pierced with holes that not-so-subtly reflect Xavier's own eroding memories.
Later on, Logan can be seen carrying an extremely frail Xavier over to his bed. It's a sad scenario for fans, but it sure as hell looks like the movie is going to make the most of exploring the unique dynamic between these two.
