12. The Police Finally Show... For Jack-Squat
All through this movie we are left to wonder where are the cops in all this? Well, they get one scene where they are seemingly about to raid the Looper Hide-out, it's why they are getting the silver into a truck and clearing the place out and then Joe goes and kills everyone in there. What were they doing just sitting there and waiting for god-knows-what? So, they presumably have the place surrounded how did Joe escape in the truck? Why have a shot of the Police at all? I think we can all assume that they have their hands full.
