Luke Goss is going up against Hellboy

luke-goss.jpgIESB are reporting that Luke Goss will re-team with director Guillermo del Toro for the upcoming Hellboy 2: The Golden Army. Not only that but he will be playing the movie's main villain who is described as....
"A ruthless leader who treads the world above and the one below defies his bloodline and awakens an unstoppable army of creatures."
His character's name is currently unknown and several sources are reporting that a complete body scan/or cast for Luke Goss is in the works. Goss appeared as Nomak in Guillermo del Toro's Blade II. I can't help but think del Toro is taking a step backward by shooting Hellboy 2 but hell, if it gets the franchise out of his system and he can blow us away with more cinematic greatness like Pan's Labyrinth... then it's fine. Production on Hellboy 2 is scheduled to begin in June, for a release next August. source - iesb
