MAMMA MIA is the fastest selling DVD in the U.K.

Not only is MAMMA MIA the biggest U.K. cinema release of all time (£66 million final gross), it has now also taken the mantle as being the fastest selling DVD in this country. Brits have gone crazy for the Abba musical which sold 1.69 million units on it's first day. Incredible.

'We are blown away with the customers response to Mamma Mia!- The Movie. We sold 300,000 copies, our biggest day one DVD of all time. At its peak, we were selling 10 copies a second with the DVD leaving in 15% of all baskets on the day."
