2. Michael Shannons General Zod
Michael Shannon is stepping into some pretty large boots with the role of General Zod. Terence Stamp, the original Zod in Superman, is widely considered to be THE Zod anyone who attempts to take the mantle is arguably under more scrutiny than even Superman himself. With that being said, Im a huge Michael Shannon fan, and the more I look at him, the more I can imagine him working in the role. And this fan-made Photoshop morph helps too: Zod vs. Superman, in a climate that can produce a movie like The Dark Knight Rises or The Avengers, could be, should be, hopefully will be epic beyond belief. And with a phenomenal performer like Shannon taking the reins with the performance side, Id say we might just be in with a contender for the mantle of Best Zod Ever.
