Man of Steel: 5 Things Superman Reboot Must Include

Even though this is a fresh look at Superman, here are five things from his history that we must see in the film.

Man of Steel will be hitting theaters next summer on June 14, 2013. With the release of the first two teaser trailers, many fans are excited for this brand new and modern take on the classic superhero. Possessing an all-star cast which includes up and coming actor of Immortals fame Henry Cavill as Superman, Oscar Nominee Amy Adams as Lois Lane, another Oscar Nominee in Michael Shannon as General Zod, and Oscar winner Russell Crowe as Jor-El. Other notable cast members include Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, and Laurence Fishburne. The cast alone makes you believe we€™re in for something special next summer. Furthermore, celebrated and fan boy favorite director Zach Snyder is directing the film with Hollywood€™s hottest director, Christopher Nolan, producing. News surrounding the film has revealed that Snyder and camp created this film under the impression that no other Superman film had come before it. This is something fresh and new. It€™s their own point of view on the comic book legend. However, with that comes some trepidation. It has also been revealed that Krypton will possess €œecumenopolis€ geography, not the cold, frigid, and crystallized layout that it€™s known for in the comics, previous Superman films, and television shows. Also, its€™ been revealed that Superman is that of a €œlost Kryptonian prince€ meant to fulfill a prophecy. This implies that the House of El is royalty on Krypton. All of these plot details obviously veer away from the classic and widely accepted canon that all Superman fans know and love. However, I do believe, even though this is a fresh and original look on the hero, some if not many recognized characteristics of the hero€™s history should be added to the film in some way. Here are five things that need to appear in the Man of Steel.
