4. Lois And Clark
A running joke amongst Superman fans is how ridiculous Clark's "disguise" of changing his hair style and throwing on a pair of glasses is. Man of Steel knew this and drastically changed things by having Lois Lane discover Clark's true nature through investigative journalism. We now live in a world where Lois knows Kal-El, not just Clark Kent. I actually liked this element of the movie because it felt more realistic. Lois is - in her words - a "Pulitzer Prize winning" reporter so it wouldn't make much sense if someone like her couldn't see through the glasses. The fact that Lois knows who Superman is creates a very interesting dynamic between the two characters that wasn't there before and is something that can be explored further in the sequels. I'm actually curious to see if Perry White figures it all out by the time the next film is done. One of the criticisms lobbied at Man of Steel was that the romantic angle between Lois and Clark was rushed and somewhat forced. I do agree with that. It was rushed. Hopefully in the sequel, the filmmakers take the time to flesh out their relationship and make the audience really feel something special between them. If the sequel does have more Clark Kent, it's not a stretch to imagine this will be tackled as well.
