1. Easter Eggs?
In the months leading up to Man of Steel's release, there were countless rumors about the hypothetical Justice League movie and how the Superman reboot would serve as the launching pad for a shard DC cinematic universe. Despite reports of a Wonder Woman cameo among other things, the only Easter egg of note was a "blink and you'll miss it" appearance of a Wayne Enterprises logo on a satellite in space. This could mean several things, including a friendly nod to Christopher Nolan and his involvement with DC films the past decade (something Snyder himself has suggested). With no real attempt to create a shared movie universe, it seems highly unlikely that a Justice League film is right around the corner. Unless there's a big announcement on tap at Comic-Con this year, fans only have Man of Steel 2 to look forward to in the near future. While I personally don't mind this, I can see where DC fans could be upset. Marvel is releasing Guardians of the Galaxy next summer and we still don't have a Wonder Woman movie. Still, there is a chance WB could begin expanding their world in the Man of Steel sequel. I'm sure as the marketing campaign for the followup gets underway, the same rumors we just saw will be brought up yet again and Snyder will have to field more Justice League questions. It will be interesting to see what happens. If we go through two solo Superman films without any clear signs of a shared universe, then that ship may have sailed.
