1. Elliot Moore - The Happening
2008 was not a good year for the actor, and though the above image is in fact taken from M. Night Shyamalan's environmental propaganda supernatural thriller flop The Happening, one can imagine it's the very same face Wahlberg pulled when he first saw the dailies of his performance in the film which was, in a word, dreadful. Wahlberg plays a science teacher who, with his wife (played by an absurdly miscast and way too young Zooey Deschanel) and daughter must attempt to survive an apocalypse that sees Earth's plant life turning on mankind and forcing them to commit suicide (I know, right?). Even though the material is without any sort of merit - except unintentional hilarity - Wahlberg delivers a stillborn performance worth mentioning itself, pulling incredulous faces like the one above most of the time, while being forced to traipse through a number of humiliating, increasingly absurd situations. Though he was much-maligned for the turn, at least M. Night Shyamalan took the brunt of the criticism, somewhat allowing him to slink out in tact after the initial uproar. So, there you have it!
