Marvel: 12 Biggest MCU Rumours You Need To Know (Sept 17th)

Recently, LRM asked Vincent D'Onofrio when he'll be back as the Kingpin, and he responded suggesting he'd definitely coming back:

“That I can’t answer. I do know, but I can’t answer … so take that how you will. Jeph [Loeb, Marvel's TV chief] and Charlie [Cox, Daredevil himself] and Netflix love Kingpin, and so, Kingpin is good for Marvel’s television stuff and I think they agree."

Daredevil season 3 is obviously a possibility, but he might be a little distracted by the return of zombie Elektra. Maybe The Punisher? The two have history.

But the most compelling rumour is that he'll appear in The Defenders, possibly as a side story to main villain Mephisto.

Kingpin returning was always obvious - he's too great not to call back at some point, after all - but where he'll appear is less certain. Obviously he has unfinished business with both Daredevil and The Punisher, but The Defenders comes close, and it's hard to imagine any major threat that's big enough to unite the team to save Hell's Kitchen wouldn't include Fisk in some way.

Or maybe that's just wishful thinking and we'll have to wait until after 2017 to see him again...
