5. Chris Hemsworth Is Up For Thor 4
A massive question mark hangs over the futures of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's old guard, with the likes of Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr and Chris Evans's contracts set to expire after Avengers 4.
This gives the actors the chance to cut ties with the MCU to pursue other projects, but in Hemsworth's case, it sounds like a fresh deal and further outings are a possibility.
The Australian actor recently rang in the new year with Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi, and amid the festivities, the pair found the time to discuss ideas for Thor 4.
Hemsworth told USA Today...
"We gave cheers to Thor 3. But it also was like, 'What could we do with four? We could do this and this'. We were throwing ideas around. But also, just to work together again. That was one of the most enjoyable creative partnerships I’ve ever had.
"It just depends on how The Avengers [movies] all wrap up. I finished shooting and now they are going to edit it and see how the stories play out. There are so many interwoven scenes and stories and characters."
This is far from official confirmation that Thor 4 is happening, but Hemsworth's comments suggest it isn't off the table entirely, and Waititi returning to the series would be a bonus after he helped revitalise the character with Ragnarok.
