10. Finding Out What Species That Blue Alien Is

Recently, in the fourteenth episode of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (entitled "T.A.H.I.T.I."), we discovered through Coulson's attempts to save Skye from certain death that the drug that was used to keep him alive, after Loki killed him in the Avengers movie, was coming from the upper half of a blue-skinned humanoid corpse. Since that moment, while trying to hide this from most people, Coulson has been subtly trying to find out more about this alien - for example by asking Lady Sif if she knew of any blue aliens. She replied that she did, listing Interdites, Levians, Pheragots, Kree, Sarks, Centaurians and Frost Giants, but this didn't give Coulson any concrete information - it merely gave him some potential leads. When we do find out what that alien is, the one word spoken to describe them could have huge implications on the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. For example, if it turns out to be a Kree, this could indicate the future inclusion of Captain Marvel (Mar-Vell) or Noh-Varr, which opens up a huge number of possibilities for the direction in which the Marvel Cinematic Universe could go - and the same goes for any other race upon the confirmation of this alien's species.
