7. Heimdall Has The Soul Stone
They say the eyes are the windows to the soul, and in Heimdall's case they could be windows to the Soul Stone, the only Infinity Gem that is still unaccounted for.
The elusive stone could well have been in plain sight throughout the Thor movies, as the evidence supporting this theory is certainly compelling.
First there's Heimdall's eyes, a fiery shade of orange, just like the Soul Stone. And then there's that line he utters in Thor: The Dark World about being able to "see nine realms and ten trillion souls" from his post in Asgard.
Still not convinced? Well, how about that prophetic vision Thor has in Avengers: Age of Ultron in which Heimdall is glassy-eyed and blind? No doubt Thanos extracting the gem from the Asgardian would have that effect.
None of this bodes well for Idris Elba's character, who looks set to be either killed, blinded or both somewhere between the events of Ragnarok and Infinity War.
