5. Have Him Fight Alongside The Avengers In Infinity War

The MCU's Avengers have fought against two key villains in the form of Ultron and Loki. So it seems crazy that they could possibly fight alongside the latter, but given the threat Earth's Mightiest Heroes will come up against it's something that could realistically happen in Avengers: Infinity War - and it would definitely be a great way to have the villain redeem himself. Thanos will be the main villain in those movies. Now, the Mad Titan being someone the Asgardian has worked for before, but Loki could turn against him in the ultimate battle. It is still believed that Loki will continue to work with the big-bad of the MCU - perhaps even as early as Thor: Ragnarok - but it's impossible to tell what he's really up to (he's a trickster, after all). His plan could easily be to thwart Thanos in the end. If he was to help stop the Mad Titan alongside the Avengers in their most epic fight - and help to save the universe in the process - that's about as much as could possibly be expected of him on his redemptive path.
