James Purefoy is one of those actors who only appears in a movie or a series once in a while but when he does it he makes an incredible job at it. When it comes to looks he already proved to us that he can look like a badass warrior in Solomon Kane, and he can also be a really intimidating opponent as proven by The Following. On a would-be franchise like this one, centered around a character that not too many people have heard about it's very important to have a charismatic and extremely talented actor who can make the audience feel interested on the character. If there's one actor capable of doing that it's definitely Purefoy.
