1. The Awesome Threat He Poses
As I've already touched upon, the Sentry's presence is also something of a threat to the good guys. If he was to appear in the MCU and help the Avengers defeat a super-villain threat, the next step could be to have
him become a threat to them. His fragile mental state means that his transformation in to the Void is only ever potentially moments away. If Sentry proves himself to be the only hero capable of defeating a particular foe, imagine if he then
becomes the foe. Not only would the Avengers have to deal with a Sentry-level threat, but they obviously wouldn't have Sentry to help them, which would be a massive challenge for them. The Void exists due to Reynolds covering up his past as a thief and an addict, which makes him project an entity as a dark side effect of his powers. In the comics, the Void was capable of breaking every bone in Hulk's body in seconds, its most basic physical attacks required the combined efforts of Iron Man's, Doctor Strange's and Invisible Woman's shields to keep it at bay - and even that was a struggle while the united forces of the New Avengers, Fantastic Four, X-Men, Inhumans, Illuminati and heavily armed S.H.I.E.L.D. agents simultaneously attacked it. It took down Asgard by itself, defeating everyone who opposed it - including a Norn Stone-powered Loki - with complete ease. The Void can shape-shift, appearing as anything from a black, demonic humanoid in a trench coat to a massive, black, armoured monster. It can also seemingly conjure powers depending on its current shape, such as when it assumed a flame form and breathed fire. Essentially, the Void is the ultimate villain, without getting in to the abstract cosmic entities that are the size of planets, and it would make for an awesome on-screen sight using modern CGI.
