Over the course of the film, Korath went from serving Thanos by assisting Ronan to following the latter once Ronan betrayed Thanos and began controlling the Power Stone.

During the assault on Xandar, Korath and his soldiers confronted Star-Lord, Drax and Groot, but Drax overpowered him, ripped out the cybernetics in his head and ensured that nobody would ever forget that finger to the throat means death.
