MCU: 10 Fan Ideas Better Than What Marvel Have Planned

1. Bring In The Fantastic Four As Soon As Possible

Although the X-Men are clearly on everyone's mind in the wake of Disney's soon to be approved acquisition of 20th Century Fox, Marvel should really be prioritising another of Fox's Marvel properties instead.

The Fantastic Four have not, by any stretch of the imagination, had a good history when it comes to the cinematic realm. First there was Roger Corman's failed nineties feature, then came the films of the early 2000s which, all problems aside, actually had a decent cast, and finally Josh Trank's 2015 reboot. All were really quite naff, and although that would perhaps give reason to throw caution into the wind in regards to adapting the fab four all over again, Marvel's first family are tailor-made for the MCU.

The X-Men, on the other hand, present a far greater challenge in making them MCU-able. Mutants don't have a presence in that realm, and while we'll want to see them eventually, bringing Sue, Reed, Johnny, Ben and all their villains - including the infallible Doctor Doom and Galactus - should be a priority.

They have the potential to be franchise leaders for years to come, and while it'll require some juggling on Marvel's behalf - and a tremendous amount of goodwill from audiences and executives alike - it's a risk worth taking.
