9. The Dead Guy Goop Is Jam

The moment we realise Darren Cross is not only a bad dude but also a fairly cold human being comes early in the film when he's still trying to finalise his shrinking technology.

Faced with an insolent executive, he shoots him with the shrink ray and the insubordinate board member is instantly turned into a disgusting blob of goop, just as Cross' animal test subjects were.

The shot looks horrific, but it's actually just strawberry jam and in one scene, Cross basically proves as much, according to Peyton Reed's audio commentary:
