1. Thor's Attack On Thanos Mirrored Thor (2011)

During the climax of the New Mexico sequence that sees the Destroyer sent to Earth to deal with Thor, we see the God of Thunder take up his true mantle and fight back against the monstrosity, earning his worthiness by showing his willingness to sacrifice himself.

It's a similar arc to the extended story that plays out throughout the MCU for Thor, with him eventually "earning" his worthiness against Hela in Thor: Ragnarok. But it is in Infinity War where the most interesting parallel occurs.

When Thor unveils Stormbreaker, he attacks Thanos from the air as the Mad Titan blasts into the sky at him. It's almost a direct mirror of what happens when Thor fights the Destroyer all those years ago...
