9. Chris Evans Cameo Is An Impression Of An Impression

For all of the poor elements in the film, Chris Evans' cameo as Captain America is a genuine - albeit very brief - joy. He turns up as Loki mocks Thor in his custody.

The best thing about the scene is that it's clearly Loki behind the Evans-shaped facade, which was achieved by Tom Hiddleston putting on the Cap suit and doing an impression of Evans. Evans then used that impression as the basis for his performance, imitating Hiddleston's imitation and saying he "spent over two years trying to not play Steve Rogers that over-the-top!"

In more Loki-related loveliness, director Alan Taylor's nine-year-old daughter was cast as Loki in a school play, so to help out, Hiddleston made a video for her offering tips about playing the character. Chiefly, he told her to remember that Loki is never not having fun.
