Though the Russo brothers had made Black Panther's first MCU scene a good one, Ryan Coogler managed to take it one step further in the hero's original solo outing.

In Black Panther, after the Wakandan mission in the South Korean casino went wrong, T'Challa, Okoye, and Nakia took to chasing Ulysses Klaue through the streets of Busan. From the moment the titular hero jumped onto the roof of the car remotely driven by Shuri, you knew this was going to be something special.

The aesthetic of seeing Black Panther surfing through the streets, hopping from car to car and tearing his enemies' vehicles apart by hand was one of the most memorable, simply badass images in the entire film - which is truly saying something, given how much stunning imagery is packed into it.

Broken up by glimpses of Okoye and Nakia in similar, jaw-dropping fashion, the entire scene showed off exactly what Black Panther is capable of, aided by the never before seen technology Wakanda would come to be known for.
