Why He Has To Die

Having first appeared in Avengers: Age Of Ultron, Andy Serkis' vibranium loving rascal Ulysses Klaue is set to return as a secondary villain in Black Panther. That puts him alongside Crossbones and Baron von Strucker, who both made it from their debut MCU films and were then used as the focal point for the opening spectacles of the follow-ups.

Like both of his fellows, Klaue is better dead narratively speaking than he is alive, and it's unlikely any villain as low billed as him will survive too long. His rivalry with Black Panther and the Wakandans is very much less interesting than the internal conflicts between T'Challa and Erik Killmonger anyway, so he's a goner too.

When It'll Happen

If Marvel's track record is anything to go by, that means he will star in an impressive opening sequence of Black Panther and then be killed up unceremoniously early. If by some miracle he makes it past act one, he's not going to buck the trend and appear in multiple Panther movies, so count him out.

How He'll Die

At the hands of bad guy Erik Killmonger, as a means for him to show off his harder line of governance that puts him at odds with Panther in the first place. Presumably after T'Challa takes him into custody after he comes to Wakanda for more delicious vibranium.
