6. Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe)
While he had some stiff competition in the villain department from Alfred Molina's Doctor Octopus, Willem Dafoe's portrayal of Norman Osborn aka the Green Goblin was one of the major hits from the original Spider-Man trilogy.
Since falling to the Web Slinger back in 2002, fans have been clamouring to see the actor return to the role of Spider-Man's arch nemesis, with rumours persisting that Dafoe has been seen on the set of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
His introduction into the MCU could lead to Dafoe's character interacting with the Avengers and the long awaited creation of the fan favourite Dark Avengers team from the comics. Having Dafoe's Osborn don the Iron Patroit armour would be a sight to behold, but seeing him fly around on his glider as the Green Goblin against Holland's Spider-Man would be an equal thrill.
