4. Thor's "Water Of Sights" Scene Should've Been Cut

At the end of the Hawkeye safe house interlude, there's an incredibly brief sequence where Dr. Selvig (Stellan Skarsgård) leads Thor into a pool which allows him to experience an apocalyptic vision of the future.

The short scene is scarcely coherent and, to the surprise of nobody, was cut down from a much longer deleted scene that, while overly expository, at least does a better job of explaining what the hell's going on.

Considering that the scene adds very little to the film and just makes things more confusing, Whedon would've been smart to just cut it completely.
